Makeup Tips for the Rainy Season

Monsoon season otherwise known as rainy season can be very harsh on your make-up vanity. It’s the time where you need to choose the right and perfect make-up tips and tricks while enjoying the fabulous look despite the cruel weather.
Perhaps, the best shield for this rainy season is to stick with waterproof mascaras, shadows and liners. You can’t afford yourself in one’s shoes of getting wet with make-up all smashed around, with mascara mixing with your blushes and your foundation ready to stain your shirt in no time. Bring a handy umbrella with you during this season. Such small weapon can protect you from shame of make-up commotion in your face.

Wear less make-up as much as possible, the lesser the better, and the better you could flaunt yourself in the street. A single coat of waterproof mascara and liners is enough to enhance your natural look. Lips should not also be very intense. Try to create a look that is very minimal in shades and colors. You can put the impact on your eyes by curling up your lashes and applying some white in your lower lids to make them more open and brighter. A dark and smokey look will add to the turmoil of the weather making you in its side. Since the weather isn’t good try to look the other way.
Another consideration during monsoon season is the make-up brand that you are using. Go for trusted brands only. They may be a little expensive but you’ll soon see that it’s all worth it! Invest on make-up products that will compensate your requirements and can give you the look that you really need.
The last thing will be to keep your calendar updated. Know when this season will start. This will prevent you from being caught in any make-up emergency. After getting the right information, gear yourself with the appropriate make-up. And oh, don’t forget your umbrella too as first mentioned above! Indeed, monsoon season isn’t something to dread about. It’s a season of challenge on how you will keep your wake regardless of the condition of the environment.

  5. Adventurous couples are fun to work with, and when it comes to when it comes to rainy outdoor weddings, I just use light makeup and waterproof eyeliners so my client's face wouldn't get smudged when rain pours hard. As for the powder, it's just loose powder.

I'm a makeup artist so I'm just sharing my experience here
