Prime Minister of Pakistan Cancelled Independence Day and Ramadan Events

In solidarity with the flood victims, all independence day celebrations have been canceled and moreover, all Iftar dinner events and celebration of eid by government ministries have been canceled so that these resources can be utilized in the affected areas

This was the proclamation of the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Yousaf Raza Gilani, after the country had been hit by a second wave of flood affecting 20 million Pakistanis all in all -a very huge number of victims to consider.
