Simple Ways of Controlling Your Anger

Anger must be considered mainly because it can affect a relationship towards one another. The story of an employee being fired by his boss because of misunderstanding and that the latter cannot hold back anymore his anger and bursts in front of the former is not new to us. In fact, this is a very good example to give. In the end the employee lost his job just because he has gone out of control of his anger. This makes the consideration of anger control very important in any relationship that we have for anger can totally change our life in an instant the moment it arises.

We value our relationships with our loved ones as much as we value ourselves. And so, keeping a healthy relationship with them is a must and one factor to ruin it is our outraging anger. Here are simple ways to save that relationship from falling apart which you can apply when you seem to take anger out of control.

• We’ve been told that counting from 1-10 can hold back our anger. Well, this is very much true. One way of controlling anger is distracting your focus towards the situation. By doing so, you are lessening the level of your anger, making you able to think more rationally and arriving at reasonable decisions.

• Another effective way is to take a short walk away from the scenario. If the first one won’t work then this step will. If you feel like bursting out in anger turn around and heed towards the door. Walk briskly and come back when you are already calm.

• Lastly, release all those energy that you have through sports, shopping or anything that you love doing. Try to find time to enjoy yourself no matter how busy or hectic your work schedule is. This is one way of rewarding yourself for all the efforts that you have done and chances of anger buildup is diminished for you become satisfied and happy with what you are doing. The happier and contented you are the more anger cannot take over, at least in considerable situations.

These are just simple ways in managing your anger, very simple yet hard to apply at first. These require constant practice and dedication to become a better person.

Once in a while, we are caught up in a heavy rainfall pouring so hard that makes us so weak, drenched and totally depressed in life. Everything is in darkness. Our only refuge is holding on to the thought of finding even the tiniest spark in the vastness of nothingness. The walk towards that spark may take long and it can disappear in no time while we are on our way out. We need a dependable light to guide our path which can last for years to sustain the wandering and be a companion for the thousands of miles journey. That spark is our way to becoming a better person, stronger and much determined to face reality once again.

Last August 16, 2010, the world was shocked with the car accident death of the famous plastic surgeon, Dr. Frank Ryan. Personally, I haven’t known him since I am not that updated with international celebrities all over the world. Nonetheless, what caught my attention is the cause of his death.

Dr. Ryan was with his dog named Jill on that day while driving in the Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu, California, where the accident also occurred. After falling off from the cliff investigators found out from the autopsy report that his death was caused by distracted driving because of tweeting. Well, isn’t that ironic that even a famous doctor like him would engage in such activity while driving? See, how tweeting and facebooking can be so addicting. The doctor’s last tweet will serve as a reminder to all of us that tweeting too hard can be very perilous; where in the doctor’s case had caused his death.

We’ve been hearing local news car accidents like texting and talking on the phone while driving and car accident advice has always been to refrain from doing these things while on your steering wheel. Even the most intense driving lesson and safety driving course cannot spare us from doing such things because these mainly rely on our own common sense. I was checking on my email for daily assignment from my client when the chat box pop out in my screen. It was my other client and, for me, it was unusual to greet me with "Help!" (that was exactly how he typed the word). I was bothered then as what might be the problem. Then, my mind started to work again, considering many possibilities. I was thinking; perhaps, it was my previous work that needed some editing or worst his client didn't accept the work, which was made by me, of course.

Zhouqu County in China Attacked by Mudslide

World news reported last August 8, 2010 that Zhouqu County was turmoiled by a heavy mudslide resulting to many casualties. Latest report says that more than 700 people were already included in the dead list and 1000 more are still missing. The once beautiful and tourist-magnet place of Gansu had been replaced by a vast site of mud, broken infrastructures and grieving relatives and families of the victims and rescuers.

National Day of Mourning for Mudslide Victims in China

Chinese government and consulates call on Sunday as national mourning day for those who had perished in the tremendous mudslide that struck the county of Zhouqu a week ago. Half-mast is ordered to all Chinese embassies all across the nation.

Xinhua news agency had recorded 1, 156 casualties and 588 still not found. But according to the residents the actual number was much higher.  Before the month of May ended, toll of affected people in China reached 400 million already.

4 Killed Outside a Restaurant in Buffalo

It was 2:30 in the morning when gunshots were heard on the Main St. just outside the City Grill. According to the investigation there were 8 gunshots fired resulting to 2 men and 2 women killed with 3 died on the spot while the other one at the hospital.

Police were investigating whether the incident originally triggered inside the bar and restaurant which continued in the street between these huge group while leaving the place.

"We're checking to see if something precipitated this from inside," Homicide Chief Dennis Richards said.

Prime Minister of Pakistan Cancelled Independence Day and Ramadan Events

In solidarity with the flood victims, all independence day celebrations have been canceled and moreover, all Iftar dinner events and celebration of eid by government ministries have been canceled so that these resources can be utilized in the affected areas

Dina Lohan Reveals Lindsay's True Condition

Linda Lohan, the supportive mother of Hollywood celebrity, Lindsay Lohan who is now in rehab, has discussed things with Matt Lauer in “The Today Show”. According to her, her daughter is doing well contradicting to what are coming out in the news. 

Linda Lohan has added also that her daughter was just a typical girl but unfortunately not aware of how she has been spied on and followed by media taking note of her actions which resulted to her imprisonment and later turned over to rehab.

The mother of Lindsay blamed the media for blowing out of proportion the real condition of her child in rehab.

In fact, according to Linda, Lindsay will be doing some charity works helping those victims of media and tabloids as soon as she gets out.

DMX Meets the Cops Again a Few Hours After His Release from Jail

DMX otherwise known as Dark Man X, a big hit rapper in early 90’s and turned actor afterwards was convicted for reckless driving in which he served for 18 days in jail. After a few hours upon his release, he was halted again by a cop for a traffic violation - a minor violation.

However, DMX wasn’t able to show an updated driver’s license when the cop requested for it. Instead of detaining him again he was ordered to show in court one of these days.

DMX seems to love the jail that he keeps on coming back there or was he just a cop-prone dude?

Russia in Supporting Iran's Nuclear Reactor Operation

The spokesman for the Russian Atomic Agency, Sergei Novikov, has pointed out the initial operation of the nuclear reactor for formulating atomic energy of Russia upon the unloading of the fuel this August 21, although generating the atomic energy will be completed in another six months’ time.

The Russian nuclear corporation is believed to help Iran in setting up the reactor site in Bushehr and this is why U.S. feared that this might be used for creating nuclear weapons instead. However, Novikov said that the fuel’s distribution will be supervised by the International Atomic Energy Agency which makes other critics, including the US, skeptical.

Prior to this report, Iran has been identified by the US Treasury Department to support nuclear weapon programs allegedly involving 20 companies and more, together with other accused individuals. The country was also accused of directing numbers of businesses and companies known to support Hamas, Taliban and Hezbollah.
